Re: Exercise Challenge

Went to Zumba last night, had a stash of life savers in my jacket pocket.  I did really well and had so much fun.  I could do that every day if I had the chance.

Re: Exercise Challenge

I saw an ad for Zumba for the Xbox last night.  Looked like fun but lots of WORK!

Last night I got on the stationary bike for 30 minutes (2 sets of 15) and the treadmill for 20 minutes.

This morning I got on the recumbant bike for 25 minutes.

Little bit of walk mid-morning at work.

Based on my numbers the exercise is making a difference.  Glad for the spport I get her.

Re: Exercise Challenge

Zumba tonight!  I also hula hooped for twenty minutes before lunch because my blood sugar is being wacky.  I had a FBS of 75 this morning and probably had a low due to the fact I dreamed of Oreo eating contests all night and I woke up confused.  The joys of life....

Re: Exercise Challenge

mhcarrs - I LOVE working out and exercise but feel sluggish in the afternoon a work.  I went to the video and did the work out - it was just what I needed today.

Thanks!

Re: Exercise Challenge

I am with you! :womanvery-happy:

Latley.....well haha more than latley ive been feeling lazy but suddenly the past few days after pep talking my mother to get on a program

that is right for her I decided to follow my own advice. I am 28 going on 29 this year, have type 2 diabetes; My goal is 30 lbs within three mo's

I encourage myself by saying well its 10 lbs a month, hopefully with full dedication and a support system I could reach my goal!

Today is my first day joining the forums, I have volunteered in the past for ADA at the "Tour De Cure", that was quite inspiring as well, so

as I head forward on my journey, I have high hopes that after losing weight and feeling better I could be walking/cycling for a cure and possibly

start my own team to join in with me! Yours is the first Ive came across in the forum and it caught my eye. So thank you :smileyhappy:

Good Luck to you and all the readers on the forum; I'll respond to anyone that has a comment feel free to talk to me =)

Re: Exercise Challenge

Yesterday did a mix of dance, kickboxing, and pilates for about 90 minutes.  Hula hooped before dinner for 25, my goal is to not have to use humalog at dinner because it helps with the lows at night.  My joints need a break so I am doing yoga today.

If I did 25 minutes of hula hoops, I'd get lots of exercise... probably 24 minutes of bending down and picking the hoop up off the floor.. and 1 minute of throwing it around my hips until it dropped right to the floor.
