low numbers/ high numbers and carbs

If after eating low carb meals all day yesterday, tSom tested at 84, two hours after dinner. We are confused about what to do at that point. Can he say fantastic I should eat berries or what?

He doesn't NEED to do anything, unless it's time for bed.  If he is hungry have a small snack between meals.  Being in that BG range is a good thing and not anything that needs to be increased for fear of a low, if that is what you are worried about.  A low is less than 70.  He should test before going to bed and if his number is lower than he can have a snack before bed.

I hope I understood your question properly.
