I tried searching for blueribbonmom in the Search box at the top of the page. ( You have to change the drop-down box to say "Users" if you want to look for people's profiles.)
Yes, I found two users, blueribbonmom with just one single post back in November 2011 and blueribbonmom12 with hundreds of posts starting in January 2012.
My guess is that you registered back in November, and then for some reason, you tried to register for a second time in January using the same name. (I've done that when I accidentally hit Register instead of Sign In.) Then, the system wouldn't let you register because it already had a blueribbonmom, so it suggested blueribbonmom12 instead, and you went for it.
Does that sound possible?
I know that the number has been there for a long, long time, because I refer to you as simply blueribbonmom sometimes when I can't remember what the number is, and others may use BRM for the same reason
