The toolbar options are visable but they don't work. None of them! No Source, bold, italics, underline, strike through, link, spell check, smileys, font size, colors..........nothing!
I can edit an entry or create one, I can also save(publish) a post but all I can do is just plain type in it. Without even the ability to create links this is pretty useless to me:sigh:
A lot of time and work was put into this blog. I've reported it but was told it could be seen. I said yes, I can see the functions but they don't work. I reported it again and have heard nothing.
Lizzy
BTW, you're seeing this in larger type because of the tool bar option on the posting part. If it works for me here it should also work in my blog. The fact that it works for me here also means it's not my system.
Here's some useful links, click on the titles

Wifeoflifertyp1,
You may not have noticed the date on Lizzy's post, it was from 2010. That blog issue was on the recent forum format that we had. Just wanted you to know, that our current forum format, we don't have those issues anymore. Thank goodness - that Matt and the ADA listened to us, and got us this wonderful new forum format.

Sorry, I just now saw your new post. What kind of problems are you having? If you are wanting to start a blog, you will have to ask Matt (ADAMateo in red letters on every page). Lizzy and I had our blogs on the old format, and ours were transferred over. Those who did not keep their blogs up, were not transferred over - I think that is what happened. Anyway, you'll have to ask Matt about a blog. As far as I know, they are not open to everyone at this time.
p.s. If you are trying to comment to any of the blogs, you have to be logged in.
p.s. again. ... if these things are not the issues you are having, please tell what they are, so we can help you.

You might have to be a certain "rank" to post a blog. Right now your "rank" is showing you as "Visitor". You should contact ADAMateo at community@diabetes.org

Unless it has changed recently, no to having to have a certain rank; and we didn't have ranks on the other format.
Have a great weekend! ![]()

We do have ranks now. Matt informed us of that when we transitioned to this format.

James,
Yes, we do now have ranks. We did NOT have ranks on the old format. However, as I had already written in one post above, ranks have nothing to do with a person having a blog .
Hope this clears it up for you.
