Diabetes PhD Equation research

[ Edited ]

Hi,

I'm very interested in the Diabetes PhD equation to assess the risk of cerebrovascular disease in patients suffering from Diabetes mellitus type 1. I wanted to know if I could get this equation to help with my research?

http://www.diabetes.org/diabetes-basics/prevention/new-risk-assessment-tool-phd.html

I haven't found any stroke risk calculations for type 1 diabetics other than Diabetes PhD. Does anyone know of one?

Thank you.

Re: Diabetes PhD Equation research

I'm not sure we can be much help to you.  These forums are for people with diabetes, not professionals, so we don't really have the kind of information you are looking for.

Perhaps if you write directly to the forum administrator, ADAMateo, at  community@diabetes.org. , he would be able to forward your question to the right people within the American Diabetes Association who might be able to provide you with the answers you  are looking for.
