Tour de Cure Miami rider Hunter Cope was diagnosed with diabetes at 6-years-old and for someone who loved being outside, staying active with two-hour gymnastics workouts and basically living life to the fullest, this was a huge blow.


So where do you go from there? As a first grader, how do you keep hopes and dreams alive of being anything from an Olympic Athlete to a Dentist or a teacher. Are you even going to survive?

From TV to Tour

Sara Prevost is the National Associate Director of the Tour de Cure and works with the nearly 90-events nationwide.  While she loves the Tour de Cure and it is her true passion in life now, her journey to get to that place is a very unique one.  She started her career as a TV Reporter, but the Allure of Tour was something she just couldn't forget.  Enjoy reading her story of heartache and hope, but be careful...  the Allure of Tour might just get you in the end, as well.
